My son installed this as a backup for an old bowl that failed. It was easier to install the absolute bowl rather than detach old bowl and abolish bootless LBN. There was a catechism about if a new LBN would fit on the old bowl as the old one was on a 1" tubular arm rather than the ellipsoidal arm. Old bowl was alpha to blight and accepting a new bowl was a no-brainer. Installed affiliated RG-6 cable powered up and formed great!18" Dish for DirecTv
